Parisa + Mehrdad | Hotel Irvine Wedding | Irvine, CA

I am SO SO excited to share this stunning wedding with you all today!

Parisa and Mehrdad have been with me from the very beginning and it was an honor documenting their love story, I'm honestly sad it's over! Their wedding day was nothing short of spectacular. It was a day filled with laughter, love, and of course, many once in a lifetime moments. These two are absolutely perfect for each other in every way, and I am lucky enough to have met such an amazing, fun, down to earth couple! You see, being a wedding photographer is more than just taking pictures. It's about meeting awesome couples, making friends, and telling their unique love story. I am so blessed that my passion constantly brings new, amazing people (like Parisa and Mehrdad!) into my life.

Any-who, back to the wedding! We started the day by photographing their wonderful details. Parisa wore a GORGEOUS, princess inspired wedding gown by Vera Wang, while Mehrdad was decked out in Calvin Klein. The girls had their hair done by the amazing Kelly Hill and makeup by Yassi Tavakolli, they all looked beautiful! Before Parisa put on her gown, Mehrdad wrote the sweetest note to her. He is such a romantic and even found a card with the Eiffel Tower on it since that's where they are going to honeymoon (can you say JEALOUS!?)! Once everyone was dressed to impress, we took the bride and groom to the courtyard for an unforgettable first look and walked around the hotel grounds for a quick portrait session before meeting up with the wedding party!

From there, it was ceremony time. Parisa and Mehrdad had a traditional Persian ceremony where they sat in front of a beautifully decorated Sofreh, done by the talented Terry Ajdar. The Sofreh was filled with neutral tones and gold accents, all representing different parts of their culture. At the end they still shared a sweet first kiss and then it was reception time! Their reception decor stayed consistent with the ceremony by having neutral tones and gold accents fill up the room. Their gorgeous white florals by Asar's Florist really added the perfect amount of elegance to their tables!

The grand entrance led into the first dance, followed by lots of open dancing. Let me tell you, the Perisan culture knows how to have a great time and throw a party! The dance floor was always occupied and there was never a dull moment. Most of the time Parisa and Mehrdad were in the middle of the crowed dancing the night away together surrounded by family and friends.

I could not be more happy for this couple, they will always have such a special place in my heart! I could not be more thankful that they entrusted me to document their most important day. I am so thrilled with their images and I hope you all enjoy them too!

Congratulations Parisa + Mehrdad! Here's to many, many years of love and happiness!
