I’m ecstatic to share such an exquisite wedding today with you! Maher Haroun of Haroun Events wrote a beautiful description below of the day and I couldn’t have said it better myself!
“In our early conversations with Courtney we discovered just how adapt her eye for detail was, with requests for layered reception tables, pouring florals, and romantic ambiance we knew it was going to be one for the books. Beyond an aesthetic connection however, we knew this couple was going to leave a significant impact on us. Their trust, candor, and abundance of love made every interaction so special.
Stationery was one of the earliest conversations we had for this wedding. With our mission to bridge modern elements with classic and timeless sensibilities, Nicolette from Isidore & Augustine was brought on to liaison this part of the design process. Our goals are always to seek inspiration from where the love is being celebrated. Palm Springs provided us with a vast library of colors and textures. Handmade paper, copper and sand toned envelopes, and whimsical illustrations were all carefully brought together to produce the most appropriate yet unique suite for this wedding.
For their bridal party of 14 lovely, bridesmaids and 14 dashing groomsmen we paired romantic mauve florals embellished with desert inspired terracotta and peach toned ribbons. Courtney and Colson decided on classic yet striking silhouettes for this bridal party. Fun loving, exceptionally elegant, and unbelievably kind this seemingly large wedding party made so much sense for our full of life clients.
In our discussions of the ceremony space, it was decided that Courtney and Colson would exchange vows whilst wrapped around lush florals. An organic, garden inspired design with subtle Palm Desert nods was exactly what this space needed to accent the already vibrant and palpable love that was being displayed.
As guests moved from the ceremony to the reception space, they were greeted with unabashed ambiance. Twinkling chandeliers overhead, glowing candles throughout, and warm bistro lights wrapped around palm trees. Our picturesque, Californian mosaic was brought to life! The abundance of florals did not stop at the ceremony either. A sweep of rambling florals in hammered gold and stone vessels provided texture and color, framed with gorgeous warm toned linens these tables were as inviting and functional as they were precious. A long head table framed with a draped cabana nestled the open space perfectly. Gorgeous medallion back, upholstered chairs provided the quintessential Palm Springs environment with a bit of tailoring. Live music was the perfect finishing touch to this experiential evening!
